Museum for Cultural History

Aside from its many special exhibitions, the museum offers collections from Hesse’s prehistory and ancient history, religious art and town life. But of course, the castel of the Landgrave itself is the most important object of attention. The impressive hall "Fürstensaal" is one of the largest and most beautiful Gothic halls in Germany.
