The city with the largest timber framed rotunda in the world! Neustadt (Hesse) is nestled amongst wooded hills on the eastern edge of the district of Marburg-Biedenkopf. With its landmark Junker-Hansen-Turm, its sights, the diverse sports and leisure facilities (such as outdoor and indoor swimming pools) and its idyllic surroundings, the historic town in Marburger Land has something for everyone.

Every year locals and clubs take part in Trinitatiskirmes, one of the largest folk festivals in Marburger Land, which has been celebrated every year since the 16th century on the weekend after Pentecost.
