The Erwin-Piscator-Haus is a centre of culture, a venue and meeting place. Modern, open architecture and the versatile spatial concept provide the basis of an event location, which can be perfectly customised to suit any type of event.
The main hall was first used in 1969 and was designed from the beginning for multi-use, even today the removable parquet flooring and the movable mezzanine are a stroke of genius, which turns the main hall into a small theatre-arena.
Since 2016, in Erwin-Piscator-Haus is also located the municipal special services EPH, Kulturladen KFZ, the playhouse of Hessisches Landestheater Marburg, the new restaurant "bottega", classrooms for Martin-Luther School and offices of Marburg Stadt und Land Tourismus GmbH (Tourist-Information).
Erwin-Piscator-Haus’s current programme can be found here.
