Tower of emperor Wilhelm
The tower of emperor Wilhelm, known colloquially as the "Spiegelslustturm", was built between 1887 and 1890 on the hill "Lahnberge", is 36 m high and has 167 steps inside it, which lead to an observation platform that offers a breathtaking view of the town of Marburg and environs.
Visitors can still see the heart-shaped light installation, which was put in place on the tower St. Elisabeth’s anniversary year in 2007 and which lights up subject to a premium rate call (tel. +49 6421 590469).
The tower can be climbed during its opening hours.
