Classic police car museum
The focus of the museum is on the mostly unique historic police vehicles of the Polizei Motorsport Club Marburg 1990 e. V., which is also the operator of the museum. The collection is now one of the largest in Germany and includes about 100 police vehicles of very different types. In addition to motorcycles, armored special vehicles and water cannons are also available for viewing. Even a Schwimmwagen is one of these automotive cultural assets.
Further police exhibits, information boards and many photos give the visitor an impression of the motorization of the police since the beginning of the last century. The main focus of the museum refers to the time after 1945.
The police vehicles also give the visitors an insight into the varied, interesting and not infrequently difficult work of the police. In the neat clubhouse there is a possibility to have some refreshments during the opening hours.
It is worthwhile to look at the wonderful "oldies" once from the proximity and not only in motion pictures or on the television to admire to be able.
The entrance is free!
Opening hours of the museum can be found here.
